While I can understand the frustration of a team(s) when it comes to placings, this video is disappointing to see. I don't feel ambushing the stage to argue with judges is the right move for any team. ~ Basim :)

Thank you Saleem for keeping the site upgraded. I love the additions of emjois and search/selection. I especially love the new reactions we have if you hover over the "Like" button! For those who are visual people, here is some more information on a few of the new features that were...

Misleading title - was that supposed to say "should be First Place?" Regardless, looks like one brutal performance. SPD always bringing the heat. For those wondering, placings at this comp were as follows.. Music Placings: Folking Desi Nachde Rounki Gabroo Bhangra Brigade Live Placings...

Welcome to the BTF. Listening to bhangra mega mixes on soundcloud or youtube (especially if they have a track list included) will also help you figure out some hype bhangra songs for workout mixes that you may enjoy. ~ Basim :)

Looking forward to this, THANK YOU @hardeep_singh!! I wish many competition committees would arrange for live streams for those who cannot travel to attend in person, even if it is a minimum charge. ~ Basim :)

I think you may be characterizing all bhangra & garba team members too quickly. There is no requirement to hang out with everyone (or that you have to get along with everyone) on the team. Heck, you don't even have to join the team - just ask the captain(s) of each team if you can come to...

Super interesting documentary. A must watch! I remember growing up to listening and dancing to Heera Group & Apna Sangeet tracks as a little boy, so this really hits home. Thanks for sharing this here @Raghav! ~ Basim :)

Good luck with this Kuntal (@kdshah ). ~ Basim :)

Please also see the pinned topic in the "Main Bhangra Discussion" section of BTF for a list of vendors for not only plastic saaps, but a other things as well. http://bhangrateamsforum.com/a/threads/list-of-bhangra-vendors-instruments-props-outfits-etc.29298/ ~ Basim :)

Indeed, but I have now changed it to 15 to accommodate larger polls! :) Feel free edit your poll to include the missing team(s). Hope this helps, ~ Basim :)

Just wanting to quickly update everyone that we awarded the following two individuals with prizes: 1) DJ MOMO (@MohitoK) - for climbing up the highest ranks and winning the 2018 (Season 4) BTF Mixing Ladder, Mohit will receive an extensive sample pack featuring exclusive HQ dhol recording made...

Good points @KarnSingh . Some of your thoughts were echoed by me 3 years ago in this topic: http://bhangrateamsforum.com/a/threads/na-vs-uk.26752/#post-235331 There really isn't any point going back & forth fighting about this because you'll need a competition with a mutually agreed upon...

Hi friends, It's been a good discussion so far, but there has been a lot hostility and name calling that does nothing but deter/off-rail a broad discussion. Let's try to avoid letting people getting under our skin and stop trying to "one up" each other on this public forum. You're not going to...

Just wanted to quickly praise @Jasnoor98 & @TegHans on really stepping up and doing a wonderful job running the majority of the ladder on their own. This was their first year as mixing ladder mods and despite their busy schedules, they made time and were committed to make sure the ladder didn't...

This was a fun interview! A big thank you to @thebhangrapodcast for working with us to put this together. ~ Basim :)

Good luck with this new team Sidra! Let me know if I can help you guys in any way :) I visit Dallas on occasion, so in the future, maybe I can drop by a practice to see how ya'll are doing. ~ Basim :)

I would love to see more international level competitions because I just feel it takes a whole lot to bring teams together from all over the world. As @KarnSingh pointed out, often times, the expected or a "deserving" team (frankly being invited to one of these competitions should be a big deal...

http://bhangrateamsforum.com/a/threads/2018-19-competitions-master-list-requesting-help.29793/ On behalf of @angeblah, please help us out @Aa Dekhen Zara ~ Basim :)

DJ 1 - great use of the rapper vocals - "808 bagging.." but I wish you would have added a deeper hitting 808 bass drop after the "boom boom" part (to complement the sample) and the an engine sound to complement the "vroom vroom" part (again, to complement to sample). I liked the added bass from...
