I have this topic favorited and it was put together by Arjun Banerjee way back in the day, but I feel it's one of the best on the "acceptable" move names topic: http://bhangrateamsforum.com/a/threads/basic-bhangra-presentation-framework.2402/ Should be required to look through for every new...

A classic song worthy of a good mix. Loved your rendition on it, particularly the shift in tempo. Clean mix that would certainly work well for a jhummar segment. Thanks for sharing. ~ Basim :)

Hi Vasda Punjab Bhangra Competition, If you could provide more details on BTF about your competition, similar to how you did last year (http://bhangrateamsforum.com/a/threads/vasda-punjab-bhangra-competition-registration-open-stockton-ca.29369/), you may gather a bit more interest. I know most...

Hi. Welcome to the BTF. I see that you joined a while back, but glad that you have made your first post! Pertaining to your request, I would suggest that you read through this pinned topic in the same section that you posted in...

^ This. Couldn't agree more with the aforementioned points that Sahil made. Competitions should know what teams they cater towards and the type of competition they are/have been. The judges should be selected based on the types of teams that the committee expects to win (which is also what the...

Great mix! Fav segment was definitely jhummar: loved the blended songs and the tempo (BPM) shift between 4:39 to 5:43. Overall, very nicely done friends. Thanks for sharing! ~ Basim :)

Around 22:00 minutes in the live stream, camera got nasha. haha. As always, thanks for creating this topic/poll & for the link to the live stream @HdBrar ~ Basim :)

Sri, welcome back bro. Rather than drop more amazing mixes, you drop a bunch of mathematics and statistics for us to ponder over..... oh how times have changes... guud wahn! ;) P.S. - Still on repeat: http://bhangrateamsforum.com/a/threads/panga-9000.11582/ ~ Basim :)

For those that aren't familiar: https://www.cnbc.com/2019/02/27/india-pakistan-air-strike-claims-what-you-need-to-know.html It's a scary situation. After not having a chance to visit her home country for nine years, my mother actually was in route to the capital city of Islamabad, Pakistan just...

Not sure if this of any help to the teams struggling with Bhangra on the Rocks/Rahul Prakash, but I found this: http://naureensingh.blogspot.com/2017/03/bhangra-on-rocks-competition.html Possibly trying to contact Naureen Singh, Colorado Sikhs, or Norvan Entertainment to see if they are of...

Excellent topic - happy to see it sparked something for BTF members and "guests" to read and share their experiences. To avoid a potential headache for mods: no problem with publicly calling out judges or competitions for being unfair/disorganized/etc, but let's just not make the attacks...

Dynamic duo - @GSingh & @TegHans! Fire mix. Would expect nothing less. Great job overall. Thanks for sharing on BTF friends. ~ Basim :)

This is absolutely sick. I love Bhindrakhia's music and this is an amazing take on it. A little clip from "behind the scenes" that I saw on your instagram: ~ Basim :)

Congrats to ya'll on the 1st place finish. Hot mix mitran. ~ Basim :)

A slightly better video of this amazing performance that I came across: Very, very talented dancers. The team should be extremely proud of the performance and all of the accomplishments they have had up until date. They are still one of the best live teams in North America. ~ Basim :)

I understand your point Karn. I just don't feel anything productive is going to happen by rushing the stage and cursing out judges. Many competitions have judges meetings with teams (or at least the captain) to explain how their scored the team according to the rubric, with time given for each...
