    Week 2: Bracket A - Matchup 8 (Voting Closed)

Dam, both DJ's really brought it. My vote: DJ 1 DJ 1 - creativity to a whole new level and the execution was so good. DJ 2's throwback to Atif Aslam's Tera Hona Laga Hoon was so clean and that tempo matching was really nice done. Great incorporation of a different song; I just feel a lot more...

    Week 2: Bracket A - Matchup 7 (Voting Closed)

My vote: DJ 2 - really enjoyed where you took the song. Good creativity shown. Bewafa incorporation and beat matching were spot on. As mentioned by others, vocals shined through better than DJ 1.

    Week 2: Bracket A - Matchup 5 (Voting Closed)

My vote: DJ 2 Both mixes were unique, but I liked the creativity shown by DJ 2 a bit more.

    Week 2: Bracket A - Matchup 3 (Voting Closed)

My vote: DJ 1 DJ 2 has had some nice concepts but didn't feel that were fully fleshed out. DJ 1's mix also sounds more "full," so your mix need work with mastering.

    Week 2: Bracket A - Matchup 2 (Voting Closed)

My vote: DJ 2 - just loved the vibe of the mix and how you incorporated the original song in various parts. DJ 1 - Huge respect for giving a shout out to Irrfan Khan with that intro! RIP to a legend. I liked your mix at the beginning, but I didn't feel it as much after 0:48. Just didn't carry...

    Week 2: Bracket A - Matchup 1 (Voting Closed)

My vote: DJ 1 - really changed things up from the original vibe on the songs. Took a bit more risk and I felt things could have went "wrong" with many elements you threw in, but you executed well.

    Bhangra Instrumental

Enjoyed this! Thanks for sharing. I like the vibe/melody of the mix. I feel it's EQed fairly well; if you ever decide to add a vocal layer on top, I would make sure the low bass hits don't over drown the vocals. Post more! Also, if you're interested in participating in our mixing ladder...

Week 1: Group H (VOTING CLOSED)

My 1st place: DJ 6 My 2nd place DJ 1 A lot of solid mixes in this group, so great job to everyone, but these two stood out the most to me and I enjoyed listening to the most. DJ 5 was a contender for the top 2, so it was a difficult decision who to exclude. ~ Basim :)

Week 1: Group G (VOTING CLOSED)

My 1st place: DJ 6 My 2nd place DJ 3 DJ 1 - subtle affects throw in at the beginning, but absolutely what you did between 0:18-0:26, but after the "ha ha ha" effect, you should have speed up the tempo & ended the mix with some hype. That would have gave the listener some more variety & taken...

Week 1: Group F (VOTING CLOSED)

Love this song! I was excited to hear how the DJ's in this group would give it their own flavor. My 1st place: DJ 2 My 2nd plae: DJ 5 DJ 1 - intro sounded hybe, but I felt your mix fell apart once the vocals were introduced. The tempo shift was interesting, but why follow it up with Daaru Pee...

Week 1: Group E (VOTING CLOSED)

My 1st place - DJ 5 My 2nd place - DJ 3 DJ 1 - I got nostalogic to hear Macarena incorporated, but your mix fell apart for me after original sound was brought back in. DJ 2 - Great job with the EQ, but I felt things were clashing in your mix between 0:10 to 0:20. The pitch shift of the vocals...

Week 1: Group D (VOTING CLOSED)

These tappe gave the DJ’s a lot to work with, so good choice mods. My 1st place: DJ 3 My 2nd place: DJ 1 DJ 1 – your mix was super hype. Loved the silence at 0:10ish and the build up back into the hype. Very “danceable” mix – I can see it incorporated into a bhangra set. A lot of good effects...

Week 1: Group C (VOTING CLOSED)

Classic song. It should have given all DJ's a standard/neutral baseline to work off of. My 1st place: DJ 1 – clear favorite My 2nd place: DJ 3 – risk taker DJ 1 - At the beginning, I loved the faster tempo of the vocals & beat you used. Piano was so nicely incorporated. Extremely creative mix...

Week 1: Group B (VOTING CLOSED)

My 1st place: DJ 1 My 2nd place: DJ 2 DJ 1 - damn, that was hot. Super creative intro and sound clips thrown in. Great concept and executed really well. DJ 2 - very interesting take. I admire the risk taken. Intro (first 10 seconds) was great; the mix was mastered really well, probably the...

Week 1: Group A (VOTING CLOSED)

My 1st place: DJ 2 My 2nd place: DJ 4 DJ 1 - just your average mix; I didn't feel there much that "stood out." Perhaps too much compression? DJ 3 - Don't feel that rap stuff hit too well with the original song DJ 5 - hurt my ears, too many clashing sounds ~ Basim :)

Omg, this is the biggest blessing during this COVID-19 situation!! I've listened to Volume 1 countless times before, especially on longer trips. Thank you so much for taking the effort to put this together. Also shoutouts to all the DJ's that made the original mixes. Impressive! ~ Basim :)
