Re: **BTF OFFICIAL MIXING LADDER** +1 - I would rather be more "strict" with the participants than have this entire thing turn into chaos. If you were around for the last mixing ladder, it was a complete mess due to the lack of activity and organization... which eventually led to it's death...

Game 7! Oh how I knew this was going to come down to the wire. Probably one of the best final series I've seen in a long time though - that game was super intense. One last game to pull off the W, let's go SPURS! ~ Basim :)

Re: **BTF OFFICIAL MIXING LADDER** +1 to both of these ideas/statements. I was going to mention both of them when I had an opportunity to write out a more detailed post. Part of the idea behind this whole BTF mixing ladder concept is to stay somewhat active - if a mixer doesn't respond to a...

Sickk performance - wedding performances/gig videos are always a treat to watch. Loved the song selection & mix - please post it & share it with us! Keep it up Virsa! ~ Basim :)

Congrats Karan! Can't wait to hear the mixes you put out during the BTF Mixers Challenge! Can't rule anyone out, ~ Basim :)

My thoughts are in line with Sue... Judges in NA are also often forced into judging across multiple categories - live, music, all male/coed/all female teams, and sometimes a combination set (live & music). That's an incredibly hard feat for any individual - the judges here need to have a...

There are a lot of heavy hitters that we are missing from this mixing ladder so far (they could always join & start from the bottom in the future though). People like: Jabar Jung, Armaani, DJ Fresh, 2Nyce, HarmanToor (since he never had a chance to participate last time). These guys were all...

Came across a detailed in-game play video of "Watch Dogs." *Must* check out by every gamer - see video below. I have to say, this game is looks absolutely insane. I'm definitely excited for the release of it in November & its launch on the PS4/XBOX One consoles respectively. Watch Dogs - 17...

Most FPS games are so much better on PC! I don't get the same level of control and quick reaction time on a console that I do on a PC. Although, I do love playing games like Killzone & Halo on console (maybe because of not having those games ported to the PC platform). Other genre of games...

How to Share Used PlayStation 4 Games ~ Basim :) P.S. - Although I'm more of a PC gamer, I still favor the PS4 in this "next generation" console battle. I'm excited to hear about the new titles releasing for both systems.

Awesome - keep up the progress guys. I can't wait for this to get underway! Voted for my top 3 - I see that a lot of people have voted already - keep those votes coming in guys!! If there is a tie in the votes, I'm assuming the mixers will be randomly grouped one after another in the ladder...

Wow! That was an absolutely amazing wealth of knowledge dispersed in a short amount of time. This video/thread deserves a whole lot more attention. I'm always been fascinated to hear/read Ashveer's thoughts & contributions due to his study of cultural anthropology at the undergrad, masters, and...

RIDDDDICCCULOUS! ~ Basim :)

Thank you Daman! You always come through man. Attached is a high quality MP3 of the song in case anyone else wants it. ~ Basim :)

Does anyone know the song that starts around 3:54?? A few of the words from the main chorus (4:20ish) are something like "tenu nasha jawani da, ashiq vekh vekh ke marde." Great song selection overall - I think your choreography really blended well with the mix. My only thing was that I...

Curious to know whose behind this competition. It's awesome that there is a competition in Northern Cali! Look forward to the progress and please keep us updated on the website, registration packet, etc etc. Best of luck BSM Entertainement team! ~ Basim :)

A poll on BTF or somewhere else? If you're talking specifically BTF, it would be more than 6/10 actually KNOW or have at least HEARD of the team before (it's probably more like 7 or 8 out of 10 actually have know/head of NBA bhangra). Check the "about" section on their facebook page. They are...

You must be fairly new to the bhangra circuit. https://www.facebook.com/pages/National-Bhangra-Association-NBA/162784733781559 National Bhangra Association @ Norcal Bhangra 2011 They have just been inactive (at the national bhangra scene level) since 2011. Regardless you should reach out to...

+1 This should be a requirement - it would awful to have people coming from outside of the BTF, registering on the website, just to vote. Making a 10 post minimum or something should alleviate most of that nonsense. We never really dealt too much with that in the last mixer's ladder (before...

I personally feel everytime a topic where Bhangra Empire is mentioned or one of their performance videos is posted, we have people that will continue to say their style dance is not "real bhangra"/robotic (which even I mentioned above)/too gimicky/etc etc. The bottom line is though, the BTF...
