Hi DJPurp, great to have you join the ladder! Per the rules, you're only allowed to challenge up to 3 spots above your current rank. So right now, you can challenge as high up as spot 33 (which is DJ Sargam). The DJ's in spots 34 & 35 are respectively fair game for you as well! Best of luck...

Re: **BTF OFFICIAL MIXING LADDER** FYI mods - don't forget to add NiraliS to the ladder for Week 3! Sargam & G-tam, it's great that you're eager to challenge people, but you guys should probably wait for the Week 3 topic to get put up. I believe it should be up soon (definitely by...

Gotta agree with what these other guys.. for your purposes go with the Logitech Z-2300, been recommending the system on BTF since 2009 ;) I've previously owned it and it's solid. Logitech is great company and for the price, their systems are hard to beat. I personally haven't heard the Z623...

Thank you nkrishan for the kind words and to the others who have hit me up on fb, via e-mail, or PMed me/responded in a topic/given karma/etc. That little bit of encouragement helps a ton and reaffirms that my comments are actually worthwhile to some :) I hope people actually enjoy reading my...

Another awesome song used for this week's challenge - one of my favorites! My vote: DJ 2 Feedback: DJ 1 - First off, the positive - when I was thinking about the original song & heard "Freaks" start up right when I hit the play, I laughed. That was quite creative, so props on thinking way...

Huge fan of the original song although it's a bit more "recent" than the others used in this week's challenge. I've heard many bhangra remixes use this song due to the popularity it gained circa 2004-2006. Good song choice though mods! My vote: DJ 1 Feedback: DJ 1 - Unique concept and great...

I guess that I'll go out on a limb here. My vote: DJ 1 Feedback: DJ 1 - Nice build up. I could hear a lot of the original song in your mix, which is not always a bad thing, but I felt you could do a lot more in terms of creativity (besides just speeding up the tempo). One thing that I wasn't...

I was happy to hear this classic song used. I felt it provided both of these DJ's a good challenge. My Vote: DJ 1 Feedback: DJ 1 - Loved the build up and echo effect you used for the intro! The first 13-14 second really engaged me. Excellent job with that. I couldn't quite make it out, but...

So having heard numerous mixes by both of these well respected DJ's, it's not hard to figure out which of these mixes belongs to which DJ. Despite knowing that, I tried my best to be impartial with my feedback and vote. My vote: DJ 1 Feedback: DJ 1 - Loved that you brought some Ashanti into...

Since this topic was bumped back up, I had to point out one small thing. This video in the original post has absolutely nothing to do with RDB - not sure why people tend to associate that 2001 Ambersariya track with RDB. Maybe because it's labelled with RDB in various places on the web...

My thoughts are in line with Jaskaran96 and Psant's feedback. +1 to both of what these guys said. Overall, you need to work on adjusting your volume levels (if you search topics online about using a compression audio plugin/processor, that will help you greatly). It was annoying to hear a weak...

Romesh Embroidery would be your best best if you're looking for a CUSTOM design: http://bhangrateamsforum.com/discuss/help-and-how-to/contact-email-person-for-romesh-embroidery/ Not sure how "urgent" your need is, but contact Romesh to see what he can do for you. Having 16 custom made outfits...

Nice of you to help this guy out Daman, but in the future, I wouldn't put in the effort. Look at all his previous posts: http://bhangrateamsforum.com/discuss/profile/?area=showposts;u=8781 He basically contributes nothing to BTF and just comes on here to make requests for songs. I wouldn't be...

Great to hear you would like to participate man. After August 16th or whenever you'll have more free time is fine :) Just post in the mixing ladder weekly topic whenever you're ready to join. After the person you challenge "accepts," you'll both be sent out the mix via e-mail and have about 10...

See jfried's post above. You don't have to do anything - unfortunately your challenger didn't accept, so you automatically win this week and take his spot. Congrats on your first win JsM :) Don't start thinking they will all come that easy! lol. You can just relax for this week, give your...

You should totally join Jusi! We need more ACTIVE participants. Even if you're relatively new at mixing or not as "pro" - this is an EXCELLENT way to get feedback & see if people actually like the concepts you're trying to experiment with. The challenges allow the mixers to think outside of the...

Dam, how could I forget about Heera Group: Heera Group Uk - Dowain Jaaniya Sick old school song! If you guys haven't picked all the songs yet, it would certainly be an interesting song to mix. ~ Basim :)

First off, SO glad to hear a female is stepping up to represent & participate amongst all the guys - I honestly wish we had a few more females in the mixing ladder. I commend you for having that courage - good luck. Secondly, since 31. First Class Beats has already challenged 28. Mohan Singh...

Created a separate topic just for song suggestions here so it's a bit easier to keep track of them weekly and keep only the challenges (and whether mixer's accept/decline) in this topic. If the mixing mods like the idea, please edit the original post to include the above link so the general BTF...

I went through a BUNCH of songs on my PC and looked for stuff that I loved to listen to (and wanted to hear good quality remixes of). Some of these might be "overdone" and if so, just skip them mixing ladder mods! Attaullah Khan - Kameez Teri Kali Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan - Lal Meri Pat Rakhiyo...
