I agree Raji, nicely stated. :) ~ Basim

Haha! Wow, this is nuts. I didn't read about this, so thanks for sharing Amby. I doubt it will pass either.. even though Cali could sure use that $1 billion revenue right now. lol! Yeah, but like that needs to happen, it's already overcrowded as it is! :P

Agreed! The entire album is a lot weaker. Also, the first Collaborations track was better imho.. Gurdas Mann & Abrar-Ul-Haq killed it.

Just to reference some information on Punjab: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punjab_(India) - Population: 24,289,296 Area: 50,362 km² http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punjab_(Pakistan) - Population: 81,845,433 Area: 205,344 km² I agree with Jasjit on this point that Punjab is a region shared/split...

Re: not sure if this has been posted Thanks for this song vj! :) I like it. Unforutunately, the media center & forum search is down at the moment, so it's hard to tell if it was posted before or not (I am guessing it hasn't been though). ~ Basim P.S. - Could you change the topic title to...

Pritpal, I like your topic ideas, but I feel you need to be more specific with the questions you pose. Instead of ... "How do I make the perfect bhangra team?" ... focus in on something in particular and ask specific questions. Examples are below: Focusing in on Bhangra practises, be detailed...

+1 Besides understanding the lyrics (where you can have just about anyone translate a song for you to get the basic meaning), what does being able to know/speak Punjabi have to do with bhangra? As faizan stated, I know plenty of non-punjabis who know more about bhangra (and performing bhangra)...

OJ, that's why there is Malwai Giddha for men! ;D Bhangra girls all just need to go create their own form of bhangra! haha, don't kill me, only jokes! :D ~ Basim

Definitely man. Can't wait for Tiger's return. This is awesome news for the golf world! ;D ~ Basim

To check the scores & recaps on the matches: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/champions-league/2008-2009/results/last-16.html Freakin Julio Ceaser was a savior for Inter. I can't believe Man U didn't even score once! :-[ Look foward to the next rematch in March.. Man U's players should...

Pritpal, you sure do love the word Gosh ;) Can't wait for attachments & the media center to come back alive! ~ Basim

I'm rooting for Man U!! Go Red Devils!! They are one match away from a 20 game unbeaten record for the European primer club championship. I hope they at least should make it to quarter finals, if not even further! ~ Basim P.S. - livefooty.doctor-serv.com is a LIFE SAVER! ;)

UBC Girlz :-* I agree with Harman to an extent. Their jhummar segment was definitely sloppy .. everyone acted like they wanted the spotlight (with too much of a hyper attitude) instead of trying to be uniform as a team. Since bhangra is traditionally a male dance form, I guess it might be hard...

Thanks for the update Kush. Pretty consistent with the predicition-voting then. Congrats to everyone that participated and placed :) ~ Basim

$8/$15 = $0.53 cents per week! :o What a cheap skate you are Pritpal!! Only jokes. I am sure you meant $8 to $15 ($8-$15)/week. ~ Basim

Dholaholic, I hope this post addresses your question of Luddi and the discussion of the various bhangra steps/names. I also referenced different parts of videos so you can actually see examples of the steps described (simply explaining it through words can be quite tough). Traditional Luddi...

Those are great ideas that Swi suggested and you can see several thousands of forums that use that same/similar strategy. 1) A target donation amount should be set and expected time needed to reach the goal (also listing the consequences if the goal is not meet). 2) A donation "meter" should...

I agree with miss OJ.. check out Abrar Ul Haq's songs.. you might be able to find some that are a little less pop-ish sounding. Also, the last song she posted above, "Main Ni Boldi" by Humaira Arshad is golden. A well recognized song that you can easily coreograph bhangra moves to...

Dude, I used to have this video on my PC before my harddrive crashed as well. I got it from DC++ like long while back and I was so sad to not have it anymore. Thanks a lot for sharing it Kala! Also, thanks for posting for us here Ricky! ~ Basim P.S. - The guy in the redish/pinkish outfit...

The template looks pretty good Kinnell. I hope the background won't be plain white though. That will look really unappealing. You could possibly add a button that will clear all fields, which would make repetivie searching a lot easier. What are you using to create it/publish it? HTML via...
