Faysal, no wonder you love putting that on for the Vent crowd! ;) Shazia Mansoor has been singing for quite a while, but I like her voice for slower/sad songs than for faster/more upbeat songs (besides Chan Mere Makhna :-*). It will be interesting to see how she debuts on Shinda's new album...

Yo guys, Nate is definitely not 5'2 guys. I've seen him play against the Houston Rockets and was close to the court when they were warming up. He's close to my height.. I would say 5'7, even though he's listed in the NBA as 5'9. ~ Basim

Dwight's 12 foot hoop dunk was simple NASSSTTTTYYY. His head was ABOVE the official 10 ft NBA rim!! Nate's 2nd dunk was a bit weak, but dam.. for a 5'9 guy.. he's one of the best jumpers I've seen in the NBA. ~ Basim

I <3 the ASD Girls :-* Considering the very limited resources they have/had to start off with.. and how new of a team this really is.. they are quite something. I don't think most of you who live in "big" places, where there are 100's of people who love to dance (to bhangra), know how hard it...

The Bhangra Team (TBT) received a lot of hate back when they were one of the first teams to break away from the modern/purely "stunts" based routines to going completely live (their band played a mix of modern songs, traditional songs, ). I remember when they performed at BOB 06' with Shiv...

A great glimpse and brief history regarding the beloved dance form, Jhoomer (often spelled Jhumar - the root being "Jhum," as in the motion of rocking from side to side) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m49LYR_waXs Apologies for the bad quality, I couldn't find a better version anywhere else. ~...

Incredible singer. Pure God given talent. I love listening to Ustad Nusrat Fathe Ali Khan's (among other legends) qawwalis .. bring so much peace to your soul. The variation in his high-mid-low notes and his ability to have such control of his voice at any level is unparallel. In my humble...

I believe we need a similar family tree setup for the Toronto teams as well ;) ~ Basim P.S. - Someone seriously do this!! lol.

I love the kurtha design a lot. A nice touch to give those vardiyan your own sense of style. Thanks for sharing Danny. ~ Basim

:o Wow Ojala Wow! You went from requesting bhangra songs to requesting entire Lollywood movies! This is taking BTF to a whole new level. lol. I don't think it would be possible and wise to put up an entire movie here. Knowing how much trouble they've gotten into lately, you don't wanna turn...

This is mad old; surprised most of you haven't seen it before. Hilarious nonetheless.. "recording myself.. kidah ethaay business kohlan lagaah... sharam nay aundee thenu?" I <3 the America t-shirt :D ~ Basim

Both of the games on ABC were great to watch today. Anyone watch the Spurs beat the Celtics right before the Cavs & Lakers game? Ginooobillliiii tears it up when it's crunch time! ;D It's very hard to compare Lebron and Kobe because they are both in different junctions of their career. Lebron...

What's even better to note from that screenshot is that Sulman has 72 personal messages. What a slut! :-* ~ Basim

Wow! That's nuts ;D Was there a lot of gas that leaked/spilled after the noozle broke off? I could imagine that to be a highly dangerous situation. Also, what did the owners of the gas station do? ~ Basim

Do you even have to ask this question? SMD Bhangra.. cheeyaaaa ;) ~ Basim

Let's make this thread more "productive," shall we? I'll take this opportunity to introduce you, blasianjh, to the Official BTF Ventrillo aka "Vent". It shall satisy all your late night bhangra cravings (among other things ;)) with fellow dancers, fans, and music lovers. You are guaranteed to...

Indeed. Pritpal knows his stuff ;)

You've got to be kidding me. Grosssss! :-X I thought my parents were the only ones who liked that. You're officially a super FOB Ojala! ~ Basim
