even though we all know that the israeli lobby has an extremely strong presence in the political matters of our country, this video really gets into the nitty-gritty of how bad it really is. Alot of people always wonder why our elected officials dont stand up and speak out against what is done for and as a result of the U.S.'s alliance with israel, and what this documentary does is it puts it all in a real-life perspective. The politicians and elected officials are afraid to: they would get blacklisted, and thus bring a quick and overwhelming end to their careers. The one part that I loved was when one of guys said we can only hope that as the new generation moves in, they will realize that the harm done by the alliance with israel outweights its benefits. And that is the only way the American public will move away, and when all is done....israel will be left with no friends in the world.faizan said:watch. this. documentary.

The U.S. just needs to get out of everyones business and take an isolationist approach to this.Vick said:I dont get it.. What do you guys want the U.S. to do? Lets say the U.S. tells Israel to back off and Hamas continues to drop missiles in Israel, what exactly is every country in this position supposed to do? The U.S. doesn't need to engage itself in this because our bitches Israel is taking care of it... Israel is our biggest ally in that region and there is no way in hell the U.S. will do anything that conflicts with Israeli beliefs... It's a sad situation, but there's really no solution to it...
Vick, its not ONLY about this situation. The U.S. always turns and looks the other way whenever Israel does anything. In this situation, is the U.S. condoning the deaths of 800 people, 25% of which are civilians, to destroy this terrorist group. Don't get me wrong here, I think the fact that Israel's attack on Hamas hardcore is necessary in many ways, but Israel isn't doing the right amount of distinguishing between Palestinian or Hamas-Palestinian. Rice has claimed theyre "trying to talk to Israel to bring about a cease-fire", yet see how things are going, and what the U.S. is doing.Vick said:I dont get it.. Be fair and just. Condemn the killing of innocent civilians and stop blindly supporting Israel - a country that has broken more UN Security Council Resolutions than all other countries of the world combined. The day the US shows reduced support for Israel or calls out Israel for their actions - I promise you the United States will earn back a lot of respect that it has lost in the past 60 years.Vick said:I dont get it.. Obviously there is something wrong with US logic. As a country we need to stop charging through with our 'bulldozer' foreign policy and actually think for a second before we blindly put our stamp of approval on Israel's every action. And I wouldn't regard Israel as the only ally, there are other US allies in the region that receive a lot of aid from us every year - Egypt, Saudia Arabia,Jordan & UAEVick said:Israel is our biggest ally in that region and there is no way in hell the U.S. will do anything that conflicts with Israeli beliefs...
Right now the best solution is to encourage a ceasefire and work towards removing Israeli forces & settlements from Palestinian land. The situation will be much better if that takes place.Vick said:It's a sad situation, but there's really no solution to it...

In any case, the loss of life is sad and terrible, whether it be Israeli or Palestinian. This Gaza tragedy concerns everyone, as it isn't just a Palestine vs Israel issue, it is a human rights issue.
Vick Yaar,Vick said:50% or more are civilians because the Hamas militants are hiding in civilian infested areas like schools and other buildings... I'm pretty sure Israel is not actively looking to kill innocent people, a lot of the blame for civilian deaths has to be put on Hamas... They're bringing this upon themselves...
Waleed I hear you bro....
I dont know enough about what exactly is going on right now, or the history of it... I'll refrain from making myself look like an idiot...Taiym?r said:Vick id like a thorough, and i mean THOROUGH explanation for your stance on this before I rip your reasoning apart anyway. thnx.
ps. again, all of you please get involved in this by knowing the whole conflict, origins, bumps in the road, potential solutions, why they failed, and why hamas and hezbollah and fateh exist. please. then follow up with opinions. its only fair, and its only logical.

The return will be immediate which is needed for the Gazans right now.Taiym?r said:well at least ur bein straightup ay.Vick said:I dont know enough about what exactly is going on right now, or the history of it...
