Two examples that come to mind with Bollywood and Numerology are:

1) Karan Johar believes K is a lucky letter so all his films have begun with K: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham..

2) Singer Sonu Nigam changed his last name to Nigaam for numerological reasons (see his wiki)...

Eh it all depends on what you want to use your computer for. For graphics, videos, etc. get a MAC. If you're interested in programming get a PC. I adore my IBM, they might not be as pretty as MACs but they're definitely reliable. I also had/have to do a lot of programming that you simply can't do on MACs. Although MACs might be reliable, once something goes wrong and the sad face pops up you really can't do anything about it except go to the store and pay entirely too much money to get it fixed. With PCs you definitely have more options to maintain/fix your computer on your own.

when editing movies, graphics,making music n stuff it's all MAC (BEST)-
Use mac if you are just going to be using one program and not browsing around.

PC-games, music and all.

wat if macs are expensive!!! buy an expensive pc and i bet it will work better than a mac and easier to use...plus u can stick to the same programs and softwares
i have an expensive laptop and it's the dope...it works awesome and unlike mac-pc ads my pc has never crashed (or frozen) since i bought it. i can put as many softwares as i want in it and it never slows down...well, softwares like adobe's photoshop and after effects do take like 3-5 seconds but i think i can bear that....mac takes time to open those HUGE softwares too!!
the viruses and trojans were an issue for me until i was stuck with my sister's desktop buhhh when i got my own laptop i figured everything out and since then i let any virus enter my computer
the only thing i like about is their desktop appearance...that's why i have my taskbar on the top and dock on the bottom just like a mac lol
overall mac is just an over-confident OS who got a lot of attitude and ego problems and he thinks that he is the superior one.
this is my point of view and it might be different for others

Personaly i prefer Macs over PCs!
use to be a big pc dude! learned java and almost learned C++ but yea then ended up changing my major to business! but anyways one of my friends (AnkurK) showed me Mac and i was always fasinated by it so yea i bought one for college! since then i believe one thing Whatever PCs do Macs can do better! =] besides gaming and really high end programming Macs are stable, user friendly and so much better looking. even if u cant find a software for mac i can garuntee u mac has a similar software which is 10 times better. so yea just remember What PCs do Macs can do better! =]

i use a mac and the only con i see is that the world isn't mac compattible. But then it is with the windows paralell or bootcamp or whatever its called. VLC is the only media player you need, real player for the wma files, everthing else works w itunes. the stuff that comes with the mac, (garageband, imovie, iweb, etc) is legittttt. The speed is amazing. I've used a PC my whole life, and when i went to college got a mac bc its much faster and it doesn't crash. Nothing has ever crashed in the year i've had my mac. I feel the operating system is easier to use once u learn it. Spaces is sick, expose is sooo convenient, dashbord, and the list goes on. Anything you can do on a PC you can do on a mac and i feel its easier. The world may be more PC friendly, but Macs dont get viruses. That is huge. A ton of DJ's use macs, Lord of the Rings was made on a mac, need anything else?

You definitely pay for what you get. Go mac

just do wat i do, get a mac and install Windows! so u can run ANY PROGRAM! i own 2 macs and NON HAVE CRASHED, and they been thru the same ish as my PC which prolly crashed maybe 184092384903285679085930284903 times, and thats just me being generous towards PC... and to top it all off, along with music, producing, video editing, photoshopping, i have almost everything on my mac, it still runs just as fast! =)

I have a PC...and I can't wait to switch to a MAC...the reason MAC is so much better and doesn't crash is because all the parts are MAC...they are built by MAC from the ground up...they start from scratch (shout out klasikhz haha)....where as pc has multiple parts from different companies that are just compatible (or hoped to be compatible, thus the higher rate of crashing in PCs)...

As far as software/ business compatability is concerned...worry not...as more people get more MACs (Macs are comin up fast), compatibility will have to go up with MACs... get a MAC...

If you are more tech savvy (not me), then you probably understand better than me...but that is what i was told by someone that has worked at google as well as microsoft...so I will take his word for it.

Jeeti, it absolutely doesnt matter that different parts of the computer are made by different vendors. When Audi makes a car, do they forge the steel for the frame? Do they hand-craft the wiring? Do they raise the cows to make the leather? No, materials are sourced from the companies that do it best. There are special companies for CPUs, GPUs, motherboards, etc (even Apple now is running on Intel CPUs).

There are two advantages in a Mac
- the OS is better than XP/Vista
- build quality is excellent

Security-wise, they are just a smaller target; it's not much more 'secure', just less exploited.

I would recommend going with a top-of-the-line item from a PC maker (i have a dell xps) which gets you excellent build quality on a PC. It's *still* a shitload cheaper than comparable Mac's, there's much more freely-available software, and just general compatibility.

With the superabundance of free security software (Firewalls, AntiVirus, Anti-malware), there's really no excuse to have all that shit on ur computer.

but i have a mac and u can get alot of the software you need for free off of torrent websites and other random programs off of versiontracker.com

when it comes down to it tho, the main reason you are paying more for a mac over a pc is because the build quality is very high and the operating system is alot better than xp/vista. also apple comes out with upgrades of its operating system much faster than microsoft does (XP to Vista was like 7 years or some shit and Tiger to Leopard was like a year and a half).

and alot of the software that comes on a mac isn't a bunch of trial versions like those that come on microsoft, which also adds to the price of the computer.

i got a top class dell studio customized with xps quality and it works awesome!!! and it never crashed or i got any virus....i only use avast anti virus and that's it
my awesome computer does the rest of the job for me
mac is just an over-confident cocky biatch
