yea you can wonder about his character all day. but does that change what he did? seriously, some of the best actors in the world are douche bags, some of the most talented musicians are arrogant. Hell, D Wade is considered one of the most humble yet talented bball players, but he is constantly seen at the FIU dorms with different girls each week. All of a sudden, he shouldnt be my fav player anymore?
That being said, I'm an enormous jordan fan. I feel like he was going for what akhil said, naming the people that propelled him forward, positively or negatively, and the events that drove him to succeed. I just think he failed to convey it in the best manner. He DID come off as arrogant, and an asshole, but does it make his achievements any less respectable? not really. it just may make you want to remember a lean, mean jordan in the 23 jersey ON THE COURT, instead of an overweight jordan speaking at a podium in a shiny silver grey suit (seriously, was it just my TV, or did it look like it had aluminum threads).
