Also, after all this if you still think its MVP's fault then i will have to admit that one of the judges was my massi, the other one was my chachi and i was able to convince my taya ji to judge Giant Bhangra 2011 as well.. Oh and the committee members were my first cousins. :) I hope this answers all your questions. Now lets all say byebye to this post and move on. ;D

Damn it you guys, how did they find out our secret plan of having our whole khandan at comps?! We'll never place another comp ever again. :-[
And are you guys really trying to figure out what the scores could've looked like? If it's really phasing that we placed then shaddap and wait for score sheets to come out. Every team did a REALLY REALLY REALLY good job and had potential of placing :-* I personally enjoyed everyones set. The comp is over so please, stop phonking away at how rigged it was and what not. And no hard feelings towards anyone, mwepe lowes ewerybody and we don't want beef <3

This is exactly why I want to get away from BTF, so much PANGA over nothing. MVP won congrats to them and the other placing teams. For all those who think it was rigged - you are entitled to your own opinion which you are voicing on btf (there is nothing wrong in that). If you think the competition is rigged just don't apply to it and move on with your lives. I can't believe everyone is still fighting and analyzing score sheets still, just be the bigger man and just stop.

Damn, so much drama and hate. Whatever happened to bhangra being about having fun. We all started dancing because we wanted to have a good time, be proud of our heritage, and spread bhangra across the North American community. Now, it's all about how a competition was rigged, a dholi slipped for a second, the formations were off... yada yada yada.. We all understand how it sucks that it's hard to place at a competitions, many teams have to deal with this nowadays (especially within California). Every single person on every team puts at least some effort into preparation at a competition because, yes they would ideally like to place, but also because at the end of the day when they go back home with a pile of homework and sore calves, they know all the practice is worth it since they truly have a passion for bhangra.

If you think a team didn't deserve to get first place, that's fine. But as members of a bhangra team, be considerate to the fact that they still practiced and sweat and worked their asses off for a competition. It doesn't come easy to anyone, and by saying that they didn't deserve to place in a rude manner is just uncalled for. So what if someone's massi or chacha or best friend was a judge...get over it. Live your life, and move on. Bhangra (and BTF) can be a huge part of your life if you want it to be, but focus on the positive aspects of it instead of wasting your time typing away hatefully about another team. We are all dancers, we are all students, a lot of us work...we are busy people and bhangra is outlet for relieving stress and having fun. Don't identify this one hobby with a teams identity and personality, because there are so many rooms for mistake.

I usually don't post on things like this on BTF, but this entire thread is pretty ridiculous. I think it was humbling that MVP offered their trophy to VDUB, and it's funny how most of the people responding to this are not on any of the teams involved in the competition themselves, but just the same people that regularly have something to say about one person or the other. Don't forget that you dance because you love it, not to create hate. <3

MVP you placed 1st. Thats now under your belt. NO ONE can take that away from you. Especially not a bunch of trolls on BTF who don't dance at all.

IF WE REALLY THINK ABOUT IT. We are all probably related somehow so if you want to dig deep and cry that one of the mvp memebers mama's chacha's kutha's previous owner was a judge then you should seriously re-examine your life.

Hahaha Amy, I wish I could give you karma from the mobile edition. Sadly this will have to do for now.
