I'm gonna go ahead and stick with my Dolphins. They surprised last year, and might as well do it again this year.

Redskins just like spending money on talent that don't produce.

I think Brian dawkins should have stuck around with the eagles. He was perfect where he was and he just threw it all down the shittier.

Both Minny and Seattle have offered 3 year deals with Seattle having offered a couple more million per year.

49ers are talking to Kurt Warner... We git rid of Mike Martz and then we talk to Warner... I dont get it man, there has to be someone with some kinda brains in our organization...

Minnesota needs to pull TJ and go hard for Donovan...instant NFC Championship game...

Great to see BTF folks talk about NFL football during the off-season

Warner is meeting with the 9ers...i don't see him fitting in well with the 9ers. The 9ers just like the Rams needs a guy who can get the job done with a crappy o-line...can someone say mike vick?

Warner needs a good o-line to protect him...i think he will eventually stay with the Cards...he has the best WR in the game, Fitz.

Jay Culter isnt happy in Denver, now if he goes to the Rams that would be sweet...him to Tory Holt would be a solid connection. Byan Leftwich is a free-agent and would fit in well in a good system.

I think Coles will go to Phili or Baltimore..he would fit in well with bot teams, both offenses would respect his style and give him the ball atleast 60-70 times. Flaco to Coles would be a good underated combo.

Lets see what happens!

I dont understand why the vikings arent at least making overtures to warner.

Warner is a proven winner coming of a great season and could instantly make this team a super bowl contender if teamed with AP. It would also make Minnesota a viable destination for Houshmanzadah and would make them the trendy pick to be a super bowl team.

I'm wondering the same thing, Minnesota needs a QB bad... I'm pretty sure Warner doesn't want to play in Minnesota though, I'm guessing his family is in sunny Arizona and doesn't want to uproot them from there... Mike Singletary is Black, Mike Vick is black, it makes perfect sense! haha... come on singletary you dumbass...

Seattle doesnt have a QB or a running back... They're irrelevant right now... Just keep feeding the Niners and Cards a few wins a year and you've done your job...

stocking up on receivers does not win you championships. Ask matt millen how that worked for him.

They should look into the cassel situation too with the nfl.

lol, this isn't worth a reaction....hahaha...take off those homer glasses and actually learn about other teams besides your 49ers. Also let me tell you WHY Warner won't fit the Vikings...they run a WCO...Yeah...only if you actually knew some about the league you would know this..They don't have the receivers Arizona has, i still don't understand the acquisition of Bernard Berrian as he is not a WCO Wr, he needs to be stretching the field. WCO relies on a short intermediate passes, time consuming offense. And please you guys have Shaun Hill...are you kidding me? Shaun Hill? Don't ever tell another team they don't have a qb if you want Micheal Vick on your squad ....You call Vick a qb? Yet you say Hasselbeck isn't one....Take off the homer glasses man....

J-Virk,

I'd rather have Seattle look at Brian Robiskie from THE Ohio State buckeyes. He seems like a perfect fit for our offense. During the NFL combine he earned praises from both Gruden and Marriuchi (sp?). Both ran WCO when they were head coaches and were jizzing over the fact of him him in a WCO and how much he can excel. He has great size, speed, good route runner and good hands. I would rather have us pickup Justin Smith with the 4th pick, that's if he falls to us. We need to eventually look for a replacement for Walter Jones and we don't have the luxury of picking this high every year, i mean c'mon we aren't the 49ers or Raiders.

JT--
The off season regarding Peppers has been quiet. Peppers would demand a farm. Even though Peppers is one of the top D-lineman, questions are raised about his work ethic. He wants to play in a 34 defense, no 34 defensive team has been in contact with the Panthers so far about a serious trade for Peppers. Who knows though right? Come draft time things can change and someone can jump the gun.

gifty although I agree the seahawks have a qb, i have to say that warner is noted for his quick, accurate delivery and poise in the pocket under pressure, traits needed in west coast offense. I am also semi-skeptical on the notion that vikings run any offense outside of run AP and pray at this point, and switching the offense based on the quarterback is probably something childress would do since warner is such a good talent(sidney rice isnt a bad receiver). Robiskie is good, and is well coached(his father is a great high school coach who probably coaches him a lot) but tj already solves a lot of your problems in that regard. Go with the bumper crop of tackle talent, and if grabbing robiskie is still there than yeah. His value is dipping due to his mysterious production two years ago and his lack of overcoming single-coverage blockers, though it would go back up if Peppers played as a 3-4 hybrid backer and end makes his value higher than haynesworth due to this talent to play multiple positions and his crazy athleticism.

The main problem with Warner is he falters without Hall of Fame talent at the WR position. Notice the time when he succeeded, both with the rams and cardinals (only for one season), both with Anquan, Larry, Torry and Bruce...That is CRAZY talent to throw to, and all of them in their primes. And like i pointed out earlier, one of the main reasons the Vikings don't excel on offense is because they are confused as shit. Trying to run the West Coast Offense while their personal is suited for Run n Gun. Deep threats in Berrian, emerging WR in Sidney Rice, a pounding back in AP and a run crushing offense line. Warner would fit good for the Vikes if Martz or Todd Haley were at charge, not Childress. He isn't a real step back qb, but a gunslinger.

Also i don't believe our WR is addressed completely. Last year we lost 6 starting wide-outs. Branch is one hit away from a season ending Injury, Burleson is coming of a Torn ACL and Engram might not even be back. Houshmanzada is a start, we still need young talent at that position.

My point exactly about Peppers, his work ethic is what scares teams. Although he is a freak of a athlete, he doesn't show up every game, just like a couple years ago when the panthers were in shambles, he just quit on his team. He can produce when he wants to, the only problem is he doesn't always want to.

Gifty,
I think you're referring to Jason Smith, OT from Baylor, but yah I agree, that'd be a good pick up for you since Andre Smith decided to be a slacker leading up to the combine. The OT class this year is pretty deep with Eugene Monroe, Michael Oher and both Smiths to be drafted in the first round

As for the Pepp situation...as a Carolina fan I'd love for him to come back, but he said he doesn't wanna play here anymore so we gotta move him sooner or later. We franchised him, so he can't sign anywhere else, but I'd like for us to trade him for a first round pick...maybe try to make a run after Brian Orakpo or Everette Brown and start rebuilding our DLine. Hopefully Josh Freeman will slip to the 2nd, or possibly Nate Davis as our 3rd rd pick
