i agree but from everything i have read the indians pretty much control the fate of cricket and their greedy asses just want to make the most money they can. the scheduling for all the 20/20 tournies is screwing up the ability of countries to go on long tours now.faizan said:@Comton
The promulgation of 20/20 at the expense of test is not a good idea...it would lead to less rounded players, less diverse bowling, and a lack of fundamentals...more bat less ball, not a good look for cricket...that's like making baseball 3 innings, and everyone will play to win quickly, leading to more hitting and less focus on bowling...
I think that the limited over formats are good for entertainment, but for the preservation of the game, test matches and test style play must be preserved as the number 1 priority of the ICC.

wasim akram's reverse swing was the beastliest thing. i remember always being scared of it.faizan said:I know right Waleed, Anwar's record seemed so unattainable, just goes to show you, no record is untouchable, except maybe ripken's in baseball.
The pitches are meant for batting on purpose, because it entertains, but they definitely handicap the bowlers. The south asian development of reverse swing was a direct reaction to shitty pitches...hence why south asians use it the best...especially pakistani bowlers![]()
hahaha... Nah man, I enjoy test cricket when it's between India and a rival(Australia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan)... I could careless when it's against New Zealand or someone... While test cricket can get boring at times, I respect the skill and mental concentration of the players to survive for so long... I lived in India between 1999-2002 and got a chance to watch a crap ton of cricket, ODI and Test... I survived watching Dravid, who I respect a lot, but man he has to be one of the most boring test cricketers in the history of the game... Watching him play built up my tolerance of extreme boring activity, hence I can survive 1-2 live teams at a competition without shooting myself...faizan said:Vick, i sense a test cricket is to live bhangra as 20/20 is to modern bhangra analogy coming from you...
