Oh god, TBA. I remember that show, those guys were assholes. We just finished the long drive from NYC to Buffalo through ice and snow in a 15 person passenger van crammed with all ~18 of us. We walk into the hotel at around 2am, tired and starving. TBA was chilling in the lobby as we got there, so we introduce ourselves and shake hands, and then one of us asks them if they knew where we could get any food nearby.
"Oh, there's a Denny's right around the block," TBA dudes say.
"Right around the block? Like walking distance?"
"Yeah, you can't miss it"
So a group of about 8 of us, all of our guys, start trudging in the snow looking for this elusive Denny's. We see a highway overpass, so we thought maybe it's just over the other side and they're bad at judging distances. It wasn't. We walked in the cold snow for about 45 minutes the night before a competition before we finally gave up, ate some hot pockets at a gas station, and called our friends back at the hotel to wake up and come pick us up. When we saw a couple of TBA kids back at the hotel, we figured they just made a mistake or maybe we missed it entirely. One of our dudes went up to them and a TBA kid says "Yo, did you go to the Denny's?" and our dude says "yeah..." The TBA dude, with an evil smirk on his face says "Haha, yeah you didn't find it, right?"
Assholes. We kind of got tooled, but who expects another bhangra team to be such dicks at a competition? Everyone normally goes out of their way to be friendly. So I guess that was the worst thing I've seen from a bhangra team.
