First off, I would like to congratulate the Buckeye Mela committee for yet again, blowing us away with their amazing organization and hospitality. It seems more and more apparent that competitions are not putting in the necessary effort to give teams and audiences the best possible experience...
Idk who's pulling what from under anyone. But its a competition. If VT was gunning for that 1st place at NN, why didn't they do enough to put themselves in a position to be undeniable? NN is going to do what they feel is best. Unless its in their rules that they bring back placing teams no...
It is unfortunate that you guys didn't make it into the lineup. But if something like this discourages you, then that's a problem. I remember the days when my teams would get rejected from literally every competition except for 1 per year. That made us work more than anything else. Rejection...
100% agree. and everything mentioned can be accomplished. Teams can bring their dancing to an excellent level. And bring a set with wow factors. And cater it to the specific rubric. Just gotta use your head.
LOL. dawg. not sleeping enough isn't the answer I promise. We do a high intensity dance. One that puts a lot of stress on the body. Sleep is the time when our body heals and recovers. If you want your body to feel better, your knees to heal faster, your ankles, whatever. Get a couple more...

You were super classy...

I'm going to call out Buckeye, and in my doing so, I want whomever is reading this to apply it to your own teams:
It's great that you are happy to have competed at burgh against teams you believe to be great. But...
This needs to happen. stop being safe. bring some difficult, hard hitting, crazy awesome choreo.
i hope all teams are offended and in turn, bring the heat so they can say "hey howie: STFU"
sounds like you may be doing flat footed betke. def don't do that. betke are different than doing squats in the gym. be on your balls of your feet and use calves as mrchicity said.
This is a pretty cool rubric. Here are my thoughts:
I like how you fully explained what the sections of the rubric meant. Without explanation, things can get super vague which is not good. Judging isn't black and white. But we want the reasoning to be as black and white as possible. thanks...
