Amazing idea, but I'm just trying to figure out how this will work. What happens if the votes end up being - i.e. FCB vs BASS.. and then JVD vs FCB... how would FCB be able to compete twice in one competition? This could happen for multiple teams as well.. i.e. FCB vs BASS, then JVD vs FCB...

Hi Vic, good to see you posting again bro. Yes, it's a fairly updated list. Having said that, we rely on the community to keep it organized and updated. If you come across anything missing or incorrect, please feel free to correct it. We've tried to make it all very easy for anyone to do...

Hi Iliana, Welcome to BTF. Please don't worry about your post - it's definitely allowed and I'm sure others on this forum can chime in with suggestions on teams closeby to the Santa Ana area (south of Los Angeles). The closest team that I know would be UCI Ranga Punjab...

Good luck to all teams competing and to the R2B2 committee this year. I hope this competition is a fun experience for the teams & the audience attending! ~ Basim :)

Awesome lineup! Look forward to seeing a lot of these teams perform/compete for the first time this season. Shoutout to my Texas teams - Alamo & Nishani. Kill it guys! Good luck with the competition Daman & co! ~ Basim :)

The committee isn't stalling and had already addressed this issue publicly in this topic (where Harjot originally brought it up): http://bhangrateamsforum.com/discuss/post-mixes-and-video-links/american-bhangra-championship-2014-watch-all-promos-and-behind-the-scenes/msg233692/#msg233692 If...

Hi. Welcome to BTF! If you check the pinned topics in this subforum, you'll come across this topic called "*** MASTER LIST- List of DJs to hire for mixes ***." If nobody responds here or PM's you directly, you should browse through that topic and see which mixers' style might suit your team's...

Hi Ruby, Welcome to BTF! Thanks for informing us about your new team in California. Which specific city do you guys hold practices in? If you have any questions along the way or if you're ever recruiting new talent, please don't hesitate to post up a new topic as there are many individuals on...

Hi Neel. So a little bit of a preface: I'm a bit old school in my thought and think that markers only make it "easier" on a team. Back when I used to dance, there were no markers that teams used. Sure, it made things like formations and spacing much harder, but then again.. we didn't have the...

Wow, that's got to be one of the worst nightmares for a female dancer! I would do as mr chicity suggested and run to the side of the stage & get the bottom piece back on ASAP. Dancing with the leggings is a huge distraction. It's not simply like a kanta or phuman came loose & fell. Imo...

lmao! my badddd yo. I swear some of these South Indians.. so hard to tell them apart ;) haha. Thanks for the correction, ~ Basim :)

Great Performance guys! Thanks for sharing the video with all of us fans. I've gonna ask if Ram did your new mix (until I read the rest of your post) because I know he played dhol with you guys before. I like the overall choreography and more importantly the great use of the entire stage. I...

The only place that I remember going to in Lahore (many years back) that actually sells quality dhols (among percussion instruments like dhokis, tablas, etc) is Millat Music Palace. I believe they also sell sitars and other musical instruments. It's located on the Northwest side of Lahore near...

Having used RTF for a good while, I know that Xenforo is a lot easier to navigate and use (especially via mobile). Development is definitely a lot better. Overall, the new site seems quicker to interact with and browse. From what I can tell, moderation of the site should be easier as well now...

Amazing review with great summarized comments for each team. This should help everyone out a lot and I'm so glad you included your own thoughts as an audience member (before & after watching team performance videos). Thank you Prasant for taking the time to share. Some karma love coming your...

Thanks for sharing it friend! ~ Basim :)

Thank you for the prompt response and addressing the concerns Aman. I hope this helps teams out that are considering applying. If you still have pending questions, feel free to reach the committee at: [csunsac818@gmail.com]csunsac818@gmail.com Good luck to the entire 2014 CSUN committee...

Please stay on topic Yankee paaji. It's fine to reference what happened over 4 years ago, but let's not rehash old topics/issues. I say that with respect & courtesy, only because the last thing we need is everyone talking about the old CSUN placings again. Only what is in bold in relevant to...

Much #respect to you, Juggie, and your friends for stepping up to the plate and taking responsibility to reimburse teams/give out prize money even though you weren't directly involved with organizing the competition. That deserves a lot of praises and ALL teams that attended Raunak Punjabi...

A big thank you for everyone that is posting reviews/feedback. This shouldn't be just about listing a bunch of shit that you hated or went wrong, so I would definitely encourage people to mention the "pros," things you liked, or fun times you had. We all know that the topics that are...
