Bhangra Knightz have been around for about 3 years now. They've competed a few times. They mostly perform locally around the bay area.

Waleed, DDA is the oldest and probably one of the most traditional competitions out there. They dont separate categories like modern and traditional like many canadian competitions do, but they are definitely very traditional. A live team usually does well at this competition if not almost always come out with a win.

DDA 2008 - Davis di dynasty (went all live)
DDA 2007 - Gabroo Punjabis (went all live)
DDA 2006 - Gabroo SHokeen (went all live)
DDA 2005 - Phulorida Bhangra (ummmm ok maybe not)
DDA 2004 - Gabroo Shokeen (went all live), no wait I think it was UBC girlz

...........needless to say, this comp is very traditional and going live is definitely a plus.

Heeray's really nasty. Seeing VCU and Nachdi go at it is gonna be tight. But at the same rate, don't count out last year's winner, Davis Di Dynasty. Don't count out Drexel either, they got third at Burgh. With a little work then can grab third here too.
