We don't all know the whole story or what really went down. So I wouldn't wanna judge either team, you never know the history or what really happened, or behind-the-scenes, or if the teams have real legit reasons for being upset. Maybe it isn't about ego but other things that the public doesn't know about. I just want people to keep in mind... :-\Meistro said:

But for real tho, I saw the videos of Nachdi Jawani and SGPD, and I think SGPD rocked it. Even though they had a few mistakes, the energy level throughout the performance was unreal. Nachdi's set was really clean, but I felt it was a little slow. Props to all the teams that placed! Wish we could've been there. Can't wait to see the rest of the teams!!

There should not be ties. Seriously? Pick a winner. Imagine if there were 5 judges. The chance that the sum of their scores is equal to the sum of 5 scores of another teams judging is pretty slim. Stop trying to make people happy by tieing them. That's lame.

Huge shout outs to the kids of Jawani Warriors, first major comp and they place second way to go! 14-16 year old kids rocked the house good job! The judges really had to do some work last night , the music and traditional categories were hella competitive. Big ups to all the teams who brought the pain. Personal fav performances of the night were definitely SGPD, AEG, RPD, GHG Khalsa and Warriors.
the competition needs to be broken down to da reasonin of the placing for teams as every1 is sayin WTF ??? abut the results

like how in the world did RPD come 2nd wen dere routine was pure dynamite, not sayin GS routine wasnt gud, but RPD's had the slighter touch to it here and dere
But when it comes to modern, HUGE TALKS
i was dere watchin it, once SGPD came on stage, it was like WTF in my head: ??? da suits may have luked funny, but damn, were they unique as hell 8)
Thier routine was DYNAMITE, like pure, especially the Leprechaun kick they did in their routine, dat was mouth watering
Nachdi Jawani's routine was gud, but not energetic at all it was a competition not a kabadi match ???
Am i right or wrong, that it was MASTI 3 Bhangra competiton, not no KABADDI MATCH

kinda wierd how there was 1 more live team but there was one less placing. Sucks for the one team that didn't place in music.
Congrats to all the teams that competed at masti.
Keep ripping it. Glad to hear there was little or no drama. Nachdi and sgpd are both very established and exceptional teams regardless of who was better it's always awesome to see them compete. As well as rooh and nachde shokeen.

True, I hope there is no serious drama as a result of this. Both SGPD and NJ are teams that the younger generation of dancers look up to and thus they need to be good role models. Again, we don't know the full story so this might've been blown out of proportion.
CONGRATs to the teams that placed - can't wait to watch the vids. Special shout out to Vic & the crew, AEG boys (faizan), SMD crew (too many to name) and Nachde Shokeen (gopi,gurdeep).

For live.....rooh could of easily got first, they were fast, clean and flawless as usual, the same can be said about nachde shokeen however their set was not fast but very graceful, i guess the judges went with the graceful team in this case...Abhi said:

For modern...sgpd was amazing, their energy level was off the hook and they were clean and brought new stuff, nachdi was much slower compared to both sgpd and jawani warriors..however their set was really creative but it wasn't the same nachdi energy level that everyones use to..kinda like sgpd at groundshaker

i just wanna give a quick shout out to anakh-e, and nypd, you guys had great sets that were very creative...but nypd has to make sure they are smiling during the whole performance..alot of guys looked shook right off the bat in terms of facial expressions...some guys weren't smiling at all for the whole thing...you cant do that at a traditional comp... maybe after more experience that will change..
anakh-e was good too but some guys weren't smiling for the whole thing.. you guys should focus on bringing every dancer up to a similar level to place higher..but this comp was sikk as hell!

CRAZYYYY COMPETITION last night.......Jawani Warriors aka Nachdi Jawani Juniors KILLED IT no doubt. the crowd was hypeddd during the whole performance. i still think they shud of settled the NJ and SGPD situation but w.e it happens. i was REALLY upset that Rooh Punjab De came second and so was the crowd....they TRULY deserved first with their flawless performance and crazy hype. not saying that Nachdey Shokeen were bad cuz they were also AMAZING but jsut that Rooh had an overall better set........Just my 2 cents
Nacdde Shokeen......( Dhol )1st Place........ The Best Team of the Competition...very clean, energetic, Best Pugs/Outfits, yah.. Best Nakhre......very good routine, No Mistake, 1/2 dancer showed less enerzy on 2/3 steps.....in my openion they were clear winner........ congrats...
RPD/ Surrey India/ Kohinoor.......... were good.......
Surrey.. flawless and good smile with ghungaroos the best part..yah the best Dholi....
RPD... no major mistake....presented very good... looked tired even first jori wasnt smile.. dress was not bad.beginig was good but rest was OK.......
Kohinoor....... done very well.... few dancers forgets and were picking up late actions...... they were good too ... good routine

Nachdi jawani...... no 1 mistake.. more folk dress n steps presented very very well....song selection/ Angrej Ali Nj shayer.... some new chhoche... the best ever ..cleanest of the comp... a little less energy....
SGPD.... best nakhre.....nice routine.....did good job... energetic..... outfits were i dono....... one guy didnt pick up Khoonda...... missed some places....... a little folkless and cleanless but very nice routine and done very well...
Jawani Warrior ..... time to shine.... surprised everyone.......immazing performance.. good energetic dancers with nakhra.... may be some minor mistakes.....and less clean then top 2....very very good job..
