Just to add on a funny video related to this: Coffee Run!!! ft. Daler Mehndi!

Fixed all the funky formating in your original post. Good luck with the competition this year Jasmeeta! ~ Basim :)

So when I last visited Punjab many years back (the West side of Punjab, since my family is mainly settled in the Pakistan side).. I noticed the "bhangra" dancers for entertainment purposes (weddings, during concerts/mehfils, etc) are similar to what Gibb posted in the youtube video above. The...

Excellent mix Nikhil. I always love the creativity you use - it prevents your mixes from being static. Having listened to a lot of your older mixes, your biggest improvements come in terms of transitions (getting a lot crisper & creative) and overall EQ imho. I love the low bass clips that you...

So what you're saying is that you don't want to put in the effort to contact DJ's that will help YOU out.. rather, you just want want to be handed help? Seriously though.. if you want to narrow down the list, why not just take just a bit of time to check their samples (i.e. from their...

Danggg, FCB bringing down the house once again. Congrats boys. It's Ram's milkshakes that continue to make the magic happen, guaranteed! I'm sure having home court advantage must have gotten you guys even more pumped. Shoutout to NYPD & FAUJ for placing as well. It must have been some tough...

Interesting concept - hope it works out. Good luck WBBC organizers! ~ Basim :)

I believe Cornell had a bhangra man mascot way back in the day as well (early 2000's maybe?). Can't remember this shit anymore, lol. By the way, according to their website, you only need to pay a small fee of £550.00 (a little over $900) to have the pleasure of meeting them, getting a few...

Mickey Mouse pagg/turla combo ftw! :D A cool exhibition act. The UK stepping up their game. Thanks for sharing. ~ Basim :)

Slambassador, always hitting hard with those great mixes. Nice work. Love your work brotha. I especially love the low bass notes that this mix hits - gives my equipment a good workout ;) Also, way to keep the highs from peaking. I was concerned about that as I was listening of the first time...

Hi Monica, Could you possibly provide a few more details on what type of team you would like to start? Is the team going to be a co-ed or all female? Is the team going to be a music team (dance to pre-recorded songs) or will they perform to live instruments? Is the goal of the team to...

Hey Harjot, I believe your youtube description for this video is incorrect (you may have forgot to edit it). It currently says: ~ Basim :)

+1 - Good luck boyzzzz. ~ Basim :)

Thank you Daman! Always coming through. Beautiful song. ~ Basim :)

Great tune! Thanks for sharing. Someone please post a good quality mp3 of this song if you happen to have it :) ~ Basim :) P.S. - Great set FS (one of my favorites from this comp) and great mix Mr. Gsmiz

Great work Naiem - I really liked that the instrumental wasn't static. I enjoy hearing the various beats that you mix in and overall it has a mellow vibe. Thanks for sharing with us here bro. ~ Basim :)

Just wanted to say thanks to Harjot and/or the Virsa gentlemen who provided a track list for the original post. It makes life just a tad easier for many! ;) All the best friends. ~ Basim :)

So even though I might be a moderator here, I would still respectfully disagree with what you stated above. Some may think I'm "biased" with my point of view, but I would form this opinion regardless. I don't see how BTF made the overall circuit "soft." The biggest difference between what BTF...

I know we've had similar topics or brief discussions in the past on this topic (i.e. http://bhangrateamsforum.com/discuss/main-bhangra-discussion/crossdressing/), but it will be interesting to hear what people have to say about this now that this practice is more "common" in the NA bhangra...

Possibly after we get a female president. GO HILLARRRYY! ~ Basim :)
