Speak for yourself young padwan ;) We grow vegetables in my background and the parents love when it rains cause they don't got to water the entire place. Essentially this is the best and most inspirational time for me to do bhangra. Let's not go lashing one of the greatest Bhangra artists in...

+1. My thoughts exactly. I can claim that I'm better than Michael Jordan, Kobe Byrant, and Lebron James combined at basketball.. but does that mean shiat unless I can back up my words? Let them actually compete against teams in real competition to see if they back up what they preach...

Tajinder paaji, it's spelled either way: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaisakhi You're correct that it's pronounced with more of a B sound instead of the V though. ~ Basim

??? Nice find man. I can't wait to see Pritpal's reaction. ~ Basim

Can you link us to where it has been posted before or re-upload in this thread? I couldn't seem to find it by searching or by browsing through the Media Center. :-\ ~ Basim

Haha, nice pickup there :) LOL! That's freakin hilarious shahzyy. Yo, some team needs to get him some a mini bhangra outfit and use him as a surprise/gimmick in the middle of their act.. he would wreckkkkk it on stage, guaranteed ;) ~ Basim

Woah, get a room onkii.. better yet, take it to PM ;) ~ Basim

I used to listen to a lot of punk rock/ska (mostly underground/non-sell out bands) back in high school. Some bands I liked: Green Day, 311 (meet them & have an autographed shirt), Nirvana, AFI (meet them), Foo Figthers, Bad Religion, Propagandhi, Sublime, Reel Big Fish, Catch 22, Mustard Plug...

I really enjoyed this as well! The guy from Nachdi was funny and Jasbir from Bhangra Empire singing was off the chain. I love how they recognized & showed the two very distinct styles (modern & traditional) of Bhangra in North America. One of the best quotes was: "There will always be a debate...

Way to turn back the clock 3 years ;) Old school Soormay was sickk. What ever happened to the team Osman? Seems like an attempt was made to continue the legacy with a fresh batch of kids, but then failed. ~ Basim

Both are amazing in their own ways. Love hearing them sing. GTV's coverage of performances is amazing. They should be hired by the bhangra committees or at least reimbursed for their expenses considering how much work they do (recording wise & post-production editing) to get these competition...

Yes sir! Finally.. after 12-long years! The Rockets stepped it up against Portland and advance to the 2nd round. Congrats ;D Now let's see if they can take on one of the best teams in the league - LA! ~ Basim

I <3 the MSU Girls! :D Incredibly talented group & loved the performance! Dancing on grass in the sun for a mela is about as legit as it gets. Props. ~ Basim

I can tell you that Pritpal is already on this one :D By the way, there are more active people on BTF besides just Pritpal from the UK, i.e. my buddy Faysal ;D ~ Basim P.S. - Salma, why did you write Team Affiliation(s):Pakistan in your introduce yourself post? Are you on a Pakistani...

The first leg of the quarterfinal is officially over. Scores from Tuesday, April 28th: Barcelona 0 - 0 Chelsea Scores from Wednesday, April 29th: Manchester United 1 - 0 Arsenal Can't wait to see the 2nd leg on May 5th & 6th!! ~ Basim :)

Sorry, I edited my original post to clarify ;) Also, since he failed in managing his cricket team (a sport that I'm sure he is a lot familiar with - cricket >>>> soccer in INDIA), I can only imagine what would happen to one of the older futbol clubs of ENGLAND. :-\ All the best to you...

Nice article. Liverpool is currently 2nd in the Premiership, but they are going to be trash if this guy takes over.. an Indian businessman/investor* managing an English futbol team?! haha. :P I hope he stiffs their top players on pay and Gerrard, Torres, etc decide to come to the Man U!! ;D...

I pwned Manjot at fb poker, when he thought he was a such a stud at it. ;) I had never played it much. I'd be down. Organize a date and time! ~ Basim

Do understand that this scenario prolongs when you will reach moderator status for another 3 years ;D ~ Basim P.S. - It was Waleed that removed/edited your post in this thread, not Saleem.
